About Us
Providence's Own
The Sakis Story
Forty Years of Good Food
& Good Company
In 1982, Sakis opened its doors at 199 Weybosset Street with a simple mission: make great pizza, welcome everyone, and keep the doors open late. More than four decades later, that mission hasn't changed — and neither has our commitment to the Providence community.
What began as a neighborhood pizza spot has evolved into a full Grille, Pizzeria & Bar — a two-story gathering place in the heart of downtown Providence. Our grand staircase, warm lighting, and the smell of fresh-baked pizza dough are as much a part of this city as Weybosset Street itself.
We're open late because Providence is a late-night city. We deliver downtown because convenience matters. We offer our bar area for private parties because some celebrations deserve the right setting. And we do it all because this is our community, and we're proud to serve it.
